Enchanting Robin

Here we are, watching each other
Enchanting Robin
A joyful surprise in chill winter day
Bright your plumage a delight
Paused in the daily rush
Holding each others gaze
A fleeting enchantment.
A holding of breath
That the moment might last
With a flash of wings you are gone
Enchanting Robin
Yet I stand gazing a the vacant space
Our encounter warms my heart
