Blossom

What a wonder in delicate blossom
So white yet hints of pink
Pale confetti breeze cast
Sprinkles aroma to the wide air
Such fleeting beauty, a gift to all
Sweet hope of harvest in waiting
Joy of Spring days so welcome
Blossom crown of new leaf buds
Bright charming light
Stand drink in the wonder
Take time to revel in the sight
Life written slowly with infinite care
Blossom to gladden the heart
Lifts the spirit to lighten the onward step
So rejoice in the sight with thanks
