May Blossom

Gentle beauty blossoms bright
Softly float petals down
Silent from every bough
Sweetly delicate in rainy days
Scattered confetti
Distributed on May breezes
Such is nature’s bounty
May blossom arrives
Wonder of the Springtime air
I stand enthralled in the stillness
Paused giving thanks for the promise
Summer fruit to grow
Harvest bounty to come
I give praise in admiration
For May blossom a future hope
