Misty Morning

Sing a song of rain, as mist shrouds the day,
Sing a song long, sing it loud, as the rain drops fall,
Sing a song in the gloom and dampness;
Sing a song of a garden brimming with life.
Sing a song of thanks for all future joy,
Sing a song of sunshine to come.
Sing a song in the long dark night;
Sing a song with the early birds bright,
Sing a song of the sun rise in thanks for light.
Sing a song of the damp soil, dark and dank,
Sing a song for drip of water on moss covered stone;
Sing a song through the tears of sadness and loss.
Sing a song of thanks for refreshing air,
Sing a song giving voice to the silenced,
Sing a song for life no matter the season:
Sing a song of freedom.
