Primula

Primula dainty flowers stand tall
Above evergreen rosette of leaves
Your hued petals rich red
Highlight yellow centres bright
A joy of cool Spring mornings
Primula perennial sweetness
Awaits to surprise in passing by
Pause to stand, to drink in beauty
A respite in life’s hurry
A reason to thank, to give praise
