Sparrow Chorus

Winter chills the stone hard ground,
In the harshness delight pauses hurry,
Sweet sound of sparrow chorus,
Bright chatter fills the cold air,
Such joy in life rejoices the heart,
Transfixed heart sings,
Sparrow chorus a wonder,
Raises the spirits as time stalls,
Praise transforms the day,
Such priceless riches,
Give thanks for encounters,
I travel on with lighter step.
