Wondering time

Pause, who will wait in the onward rush
Take time to linger, walk with slow considered step
Look really see the detail of flowers, the dew upon the grass.
Walk in wondering time, walk slow, breathe deep
So give thanks for every breath, each vista of sky
Wondering time in the transposing of season into season
Look up, look around the wide world waits to show
The insignificant matter, beauty is all around
See the lichen on the stone, moss nestled on the wall
Forget me not sprinkled among the shrubs
Make time to see a wondering time
Be thankful for peace in a wondering time
